Is it all the rental car company is the same ? When you book the car what you request,they always give you not the same one from picture ,they use is similar to excuse their wrong arrangment ! This time I booking a 7seat MPV when I go to collect they arrange a 5 seat + 2 no leg space seat SUV for us ! We are 7 adult for the journey who want to sit a seat need to ban your leg ? So after an hour debate and also by luck they finally gave us one 9seat mini van for instead ! This time I am lucky for instead but how about next time ? So don't accept what they are supply to you if it not your booking and also arrange more time to collect your car that you have more time to solve out what problems they will happen ! Good luck !!

My recent experience with Enterprise Hove was appalling. When booking a large van for a trip to Hove Recycling Centre, I spoke to a member of staff who assured me the vehicle type I booked would be fine to use and advised a number of customers have done the same recently. This instilled confidence in the booking and in the company. Upon arriving at Hove Recycling Centre I was turned away as the vehicle was too big to enter the site. I spoke to a member of staff at Enterprise and advised them of the situation. They were unable to offer me another vehicle at the time, and they advised they would be unable to offer any type of refund. After explaining what had happened on the original call when booking the vehicle, I was still advised no refund would be offered, however, as I am also an Enterprise Car Club customer, credit will be added to my account as a gesture of goodwill. This resolution was offered to me 4 weeks ago and I still haven't received the driving credit on my Car Club account. During the last 4 weeks, I have called Enterprise to chase this and I have been presented with various different excuses ranging from "I forgot" to "the complaint handler has been off self-isolating". It also took me calling constantly to have something in writing to confirm the resolution as my confidence in the company was quickly diminishing at this point. When I called recently, I spoke to the assistant manager who assured me she would take full ownership of the complaint and assured me the driving credit would be added. Having been a customer of Enterprise and Enterprise Car Club for many years, and recommending the company to friends and family, I expect better! I don't expect to still be chasing a resolution to my complaint 4 weeks later! My Car Club renewal is due in November, however, I will NOT be renewing and I will never use, nor recommend Enterprise ever again.

I have rented many cars in different continents, different developed and developing countries and this one was the worst experience. Customer service skills 0%. I asked the lady where is the manager I need to talk to him and she answered very loudy ' I am the manager'. After 2 hours waiting I picked up the car.

Last minute car hire, was told I had an upgrade - that's the only positive! The alloys were covered in scratches and marks, of which I was told it's not a problem, only if there's damage to the wheel would they charge. As it was raining, I gave the wheels a quick once over, but didn't fully go over them, BIG mistake! On returning the vehicle, the staff member went straight to the front wheel and said the tyre was damaged, I'd just stepped out of the car and he'd barley looked at it before informing me I'd be liable for it. I instantly thought there was something fishy going on, as he started to recite the story, word for word that was given to me upon collection. I was charged £1000 for a 'damaged' tyre and told the claims team would be in touch the following day. He was insistent that this would be resolved asap, as safety is their number 1 priority (that and not renting damaged cars) A few days went by with no contact, so I called and was told that someone was looking at it and would come back to me tomorrow - no one did. More time has passed and I had the misfortune of speaking with Megan, who couldn't' have been less interested if she'd tried. She informed me the claim is still being investigated and someone would come back to me within 8 weeks! I said I wanted to speak with someone regarding my complaint, of which there was no one available. There's also no one available at customer services, you can raise a complaint and someone should come back to you in 48hrs. Enterprise - you're super quick to take payment for renting damaged cars, but your customer service is appalling. Trust the reviews, they're all correct about them having awful service. I'd rather walk than rent from these crooks again...
