Excellent staff 👏. Backed me all the way when I felt it necessary to pick up the fool who couldn't be bothered to follow the rules reference face masks. Less said about that the better. Good pint, good pub.

Justin, guessing he is new, is an absolute legend! Full of polite banter, an absolute gentleman. Courteous and a kind fellow with a great moustache 😊😊😊 Even fist pumped me on the way out hahah Good lad

Poor choice of beer. Very average pub. Revised October 2020 (1 extra star) Choice limited due to Covid-19 problems. The pub did have reasonable Covid-19 safety and my friends do like the Heineken.

I had fish and chips, my sister had mixed grill both meals were absolutely lovely, service and bar staff great too. Can't wait to go back😀

Made me take my cap off during the day. And to be honest - it was the way I was asked to remove cap. Poor.

Popped in this afternoon on a trip to Manchester. Great pub where you feel like you’re stepping out of the city centre for a while. Real welcoming feel. New menu is great and the selection of small plates is amazing. Chatty, approachable staff and a great choice of drinks.

Service with a smile, and the charm of a traditional local community pub, complete with a great calendar of events advertised on the attractive boards outside to tempt you in. Give this place a go!! Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and relaxed atmosphere with an excellent choice of drinks. This is located right in the heart of the city. And this pub has a huge heart for live music too. 🎶
