Purchased a gift card as a Christmas gift last week. Staff insisted that I needed to provide my personal details for the purchase, which I was reluctant to do because I didn't want to receive marketing emails. The assistant assured me that they are only kept on file in case of gift card issues such as lost cards, and that they would not be used for anything else. Surprise, surprise, yesterday I received marketing from Endota in my inbox. Not only do they misuse customer details, they also blatantly lie about it to their customer's faces.
