Elswick Pool – sunderland

Was the worst swimming experience of my life...think it needs to be detailed better when stating adults only.. there was more kids then adults there, couldn't get a decent swim will not be returning

Nice local pool good for yong kids to splash around There would be no harm to add a slide or a sprinkler 😅

Friendly staff, clean environment. The water is not very warm but overall I love this place.

1st time ever at this pool. Came with 3 grandchildren. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The temperature was perfect. We booked our slot and there was just the right amount of people there. I couldn't recommend it enough. Well done Elswick pool. Lovely park just outside if you have enough energy left after your swim.

I moved to using Elswick Pool, in April 2021, when Go Gateshead still hadn't opened their pools since March 2020. This pool and the staff are a revelation, everyone is very friendly, pool and changing rooms are always clean. I also love the community ethos, providing a swim programme which reflects the needs of locals such as gender only swims, disability swims, public swims, inflatable session, and early adult only sessions starting at 6am for those of us who want a swim before work. I won't be returning to my former pool.

Good place to swim. Male session from 7 to 8. Went on tuesday. Most swimmers on male sessions are Jews, must be their favourite place to swim 🙂

Great service and cleanliness. Tutors are very professional and polite. Great place for kids swimming lessons.

Good Facilities but prices have rocketed recently
