I Studied at this campus for 3 years. All I can say about this campus is that it will get you through to join university. I Was one of those students who did not have a clue which course I Wanted to do, I even asked for help, I did get responses but those responses were only career advisors who would visit from Napier University. The business department is not very good at teaching, there are a few lecturers that really need to put a smile on their face when they see students. The computing department is a bit better, Although the problem is that they expect you to have knowledge in the subject you are trying to learn which is extremely frustrating! Then I have to go and tell the lecturers alone. I Did not enjoy my time at this college, Althoigh thankfully I got through it.

Photography department: Tutors bully students, moaning about work even when it's such a subjective art. Extremely disorganised, wasted a year there, thinking it would get better throughout time (I was wrong). Now currently trying to get my work back but tutors have basically lost my work even though it costs me hundreds to print and hand everything in. Horrible place to be. My advice, anyone wanting to do photography at Edinburgh college, think again. You're better off on your own anyway!

The pre-intermediate english course, leaves much to be desired, the teacher is not at all professional, skips hours of class with the excuse that his WiFi does not work well, there are students of lower levels, I am not learning anything despite the value of this course, nothing recommended

I did a course where several students kept coming in late every morning . If I kept turning up late in my PT job what would happen ? That's right , I'd lose my job . Did the latecomers lose their college place ? No. What happened was the doors were locked at 9.15 which meant if I or anyone else who were vert punctual turned up late just once we'd be classed as absent and lose our busary. I was never late but did feel very resentful that we all suffered from the actions of the few There was something else and that was dates for tests and exams would be changed at very short notice with no explanation as to why . I thought the whole point of further education was to be treated like an adult but I'm reminded of the old addage that people who can do and people who can't teach
