This review system won't let me give a place 0 stars, but if I could I would. Their customer service is despicable. I've had quite possibly the worst customer service experience of my life with Eddisons. The thing is, its not hard to provide good customer service. It's something a monkey could provide.... As a tenant I raised several problems with the apartment, none of which were resolved. I was actually asked if I could cover some repairs on my insurance for one instance as the landlord refused to pay, as they didn't personally cause the damage. (This was accidental damage to a hob, caused through no fault of my own and property that comes as part of the furnishings) I advised them that as the damage was accidental I would be more than happy to pay half of the costs. Yet the landlord wouldn't agree to this either. The last email I sent regarding this was over four weeks ago....I'm still waiting for a response back from them and my tenancy ends on the 23rd of this month. I also advised them that the mattress needed replacing. I got one email asking me to take some pictures, after i sent these I haven't heard anything back from them. Additionally, I asked for a reference for my new landlord, which they charged me 15 pounds....nearly a week has passed and they still haven't sent the information over. My new tenancy starts on Monday and Eddisons are closed on a weekend....go figure? The funny thing is, I was sent a renewal document during the above period. Of course I replied promptly to inform them I wouldn't be renewing my tenancy....yet again I have had no further correspondence (via email or telephone) other than an automated receipt. I've been a tenant with Eddisons coming up to 3 years now. It feels as though they put an charge on everything that requires them to do anything, even if it is only a small amount of effort. Then they still don't follow through with it. Even after I have always paid my rent on time and generally been a good tenant. After what appeared to be an exceptional letting agent. I am left feeling exhausted and thoroughly disappointed with the service I have been given over the course of my tenancy. Avoid this place......seriously....keep well away.

I was worried that we wouldn't find anywhere to live in Leeds but that all changed when we contacted Eddisons; they were quick to understand our criteria and provided a great service from start to finish. We now have a lovely waterside apartment at a really great price too! Would recommend x

My experience with them has been very positive. Fast, friendly and professional. I have had several minor issues with the property I leased and they have solved them much faster than I would have ever expected. All in all I say they are a top-notch letting agency and have solved all the issues mentioned in previous bad reviews.
