We went in Saturday to purchase shower curtain. There was only one in stock, that too was opened, creased up no labels. Customer return or used. Manager probably didn't have a good day - Refused to give any money off - Saying that its still "usable" Yep you read it right, its still "usable" so pay the full price for 'used' item on the shelf. I am glad he is not running a resturant :)

Worst shopping experience ever. Tiani Johnson-Jackson is incredibly rude & self-entitled - acts like she owns a share in Dunelm. I don’t think she understands the role of a sales ‘assistant’ as she has absolutely no intention of assisting - many customers were very displeased with her attitude & appearance in the short space of time that I was in the store. Scruffy, unmannered & disrespectful - she must have bribed her way into this role, it’s beyond me why Dunelm HR would recruit such a mess!

On this occasion my experience was poor. I ordered an electric fire, online, for my elderly mother after her boiler broke down. Hermes failed to inform me that my parcel was out for delivery. However they sent me an email to say I missed my delivery when in fact they had put the fire with a courier that wasn't delivering in my area. A positive aspect was the very helpful virtual assistant Hannah W who tracked down the missing fire and ensured delivery. However on arrival the legs of the fire was missing and I returned it to my local store for a refund.

Decent store but the staff on the tills are very very slow. If you need to get a refund then good luck. I paid using Google pay but when it came to the refund they asked for the physical credit card. This is not the process any store follows and I also checked with Google. They forced me to exchange something in store.
