I hold Colinton Surgery , its doctors , nurses and staff in the highest possible regard . I have had reason to consult the practice on a number of occasions this year and got medical attention of the highest possible standard - which quickly resolved the issues in question

Easy to get an appointment if you phone at eight in morning and receptionist very helpful

Current covid rule to get an appointment is to phone each morning at 8am to try and get an appointment for that day. They have no queue system and appointments are gone by 8.30am. You will probably not even get through and it involves phoning the number repeatedly hoping to get through. If you do somehow get an appointment, they won't tell you when to expect a call. One particular receptionist is really quite rude as well. Edit: I moved away temporarily and arranged for a temp GP at another city in the UK. Apparently this surgery decided to send away my files and "lose" them. I'm not sure how you can lose electronic files but they did and they won't tell me where they have gone. These receptionists and doctors are worse than useless as they are actively making things so much worse. Also they said my prescription was sent to the pharmacy but it was not. I called the surgery again and they said they didn't have a record of it. Words can not describe how inept this practice is.

I agree it can be tricky to get an appointment but once you do, they provide excellent service.

Impossible to get an appointment. You have to phone each morning between at 8am-8.30am. But surgery very tricky, as they just cut they phone lines at that time. Afterwards you can get thru easaly but you wont get an appointment.
