I have been a patient of Bartlemas Surgery for about 5 years. I am quite happy to say that they are good at what they do and their reception staff has improved a lot and they are trying hard to be of good assistance to you. John, the receptionist, has always been nice to me and of good help - I believe he has been working there for quite a while and he is always helpful. Today, I have been speaking to a nurse whose name is Jacki Wain and she has been amazing in terms of advising and helping and getting back to me through text messages. Thank you Bartlemas I know you are trying your very best.

Latest visit was for the flu jab, on a Saturday morning (no queues), and it could not have been simpler or more friendly and stress free: details confirmed immediately on entering, barely had taken off my coat when ushered along to one of the many consulting rooms, quick confirmation about allergies then the shot (all done in the doorway) and I was off home. I probably wasn't on the premises for more than a few minutes. There was plenty of room to distance from other patients, with screens and masks keeping you protected during any close contact (I was also masked). I have no hesitation in returning here for any future health issues, fully confident in the capabilities of the staff.

Great surgery, receptionists are generally helpful even with the Covid19 restrictions. Seen several of the doctors, and without exception they have all been very competent and patient friendly.

I am on the phone right now, for 30 minutes, still on hold! I need my repeat precription for my asthma inhalers. Please pick up the phone. Stating you are very busy it’s not acceptable, it’s an excuse. 30 or more minutes it’s not an acceptable time. I am going to stay on hold and see how much time I am on the phone!
