I would strongly recommend calling 111 instead of trying to book an appointment as it is impossible to get seen. Not only a rude receptionist with very little empathy, but the next available appointment is in a months time.

I have always found the doctors and reception most helpful. I really appreciate all the hard work they put into looking after myself and my family. This is actually from Josh's mum. Not sure what I did wrong!

I am register in Grovlands 7years. They are always helpfull and staff is very nice. It is one of the best clinic in Reading. They help me when I need them, and they also help my friend which do not recive proffesional help from the hospital for 2 years, I recommend her this clinic and she finally get help. Pandemic is a hard time for all medical centers that why I think this is not the something to give 2 or 1 star to this clinic.

I don't normally leave reviews but I am appalled by how aweful this system is since the plandemic of covid 19. It has become a very poor system of waiting in que even for even for a telephone appointment. I rang at 8 am . It doesn't make any difference at all what time you ring the surgery, no one seems available to answer your calls even if you ask to be put through with patient services. I was waiting for over half an hour in a que for someone to even answer then to be told that even all the telephone appointments are booked . It does not speed things up even if you ask to speak with patients services. Patient services , there is no service even if waiting patiently. I feel that they do not even answer phonecalls. Like another reviewer said in the comments.. i doubt that they even answer calls and when you do get through you get a different answer every time you speak to someone . The services lacks any consistency. You can't even request that your own Dr phones to speak to you, but I know before this Dr's rang their patients as par requested . Ringing your patients is not going to give you covid 19. My Dr is good but unfortunately, sadly the receptionist staff give the surgery a poor reputation. Not impressed at all. πŸ‘ŽπŸ½πŸ‘ŽπŸ½πŸ‘ŽπŸ½πŸ‘ŽπŸ½

I have been registered at Grovelands for over 30 years; the doctors and nurses I have encountered have been professional, and helpful, and have been supportive during some particularly difficult times for my family. I also commend the very efficient way the annual 'flu jab sessions are run, ensuring the minimum of waiting time for patients. However, over the last two decades I have experienced a general deterioration in the attitude of the reception staff towards the patients, though there are exceptions. It seems other reviewers have not been so fortunate, and I would not dispute their grievances. I am hoping that the current Practice Manager, whom I have recently contacted on this issue, can improve the things for the patients.
