5/ 5

Having initially seen another consultant rheumatologist, I felt I had been given insufficient information and time to enable me to decide the best way forward for my condition. In fact, I felt "the only solution" was being forced upon me. However, my experience with Dr David O'Reilly over the past six months has been entirely different in that he actively encourages working in partnership with the patient. And this is exactly what I needed in order for me to make those important and fully informed choices. After all, it is my body that is being treated. Dr O'Reilly is approachable and very easy to communicate with whether it be a consultation at the hospital, email, text or phone. He is thorough, always reassuring and his response times to any query I have raised have been incredible. As an example, only yesterday, I felt I was having unacceptable side effects from the medication I was taking. Dr O'Reilly responded to my enquiry quickly, we discussed a new way forward and already I feel significantly better. It is impossible for me to fault Dr O'reilly in any way.
