Dr D Patel – Paradise Medical Centre coventry

I have been coming to this clinic all of my life, so just over 30 years. The only reason I have kept coming back is due to the good advice that Dr M G Mistry has given my family and I. Apart from that, it is a very poorly run and coordinated clinic. Appointments are extremely difficult to come by. My mother has been trying to make one for months. Also, the reception staff's people skills are embarrassing. I was told by my pharmacist that I needed to talk to my GP to get a 6 month renewal for my medication. This was wrong, which may have been an honest mistake on behalf of the pharmacist. When I asked the receptionist, she sounded annoyed and told me I don't need one yet in a manner in which she was telling me off. What right she has to talk to a patient who just wanted to double check he's still got time left on his prescription is beyond me. Your reception staff need a good talking to or a clear out. Also, clean up your operational system as far as booking appointments are concerned because you are denying people help which they need. Very disappointing.

I cant fault this surgery care by all the doctors have been out standing. Either face to face or consultation by fone.well done and keep up the good work...you all deserve a medal of achievment of care too your patients. Thankyou

I have been a patient for 30+ years at this practice. The staff and Doctors have always provided excellent care.

How can all the receptionist nust be so useless, and why do they ask for symptoms and try to clinically diagnose over the phone, they are not trained to do so, they can’t even spell their on names, this is the only part that is a let down at this clinic the doctors are all really good, the reception team need to mirror this.

The receptionists aren't the best (I've never really experiences a good doctor's receptionist !). However, to me - the most important thing is the quality of care from the doctors and nurses at the practice - and my experience - over many years of them treating myself & my parents - is that they are excellent. Booking an appointment is difficult, but I'm more interested in the care given than the manner and efficiency of the support staff.

Great and helpful management and drs and nurses are helpful here to, been a patient here for a long time and IV always got the help me and my family have needed 😁

receptionists are arrogrant and constantly threaten to take patients off the surgery register.why?......manager zafar is the same...why.???Because no body is highlighting this issue.maybe an appropriate body could investigate,starting with phone communication.APM...all patients matter.how dare paradise medical staff treat people with threats on the phone because they have no doctors or even even managers on site.yes ..i ha e personally been told that by a receptionist.that does not sit right with me.people are being refused appointments as there are no doctors on site.pathetic.

I have been registered at this practice for 35+ years and due to the rude receptionis (NHS bouncers) I had stopped using the facilities for the last 12 months, I had to phone the practice yesterday and was dreading the experience but what a of breathe of fresh airi experienced. The person I spoke to was called Daria was absolutely fabulous and very polite,. Daria could not do enough to help and certainly did go above and beyond to help. In my opinion the other members of the front of house/admin team could learn a few skills and manners from her.II am only able to give 3* for the. Practice but Daria desvers 5* if not more.

I must say this Doctors Surgery is of excellent standard. Its a busy place but staff always work hard to get you booked in. I personally couldn't ask for a better Doctor (Dr D.Patel), as he is always there to support me and my family. He is incredibly professional, dedicated and goes above and beyond to help.

I cannot believe that this place cannot answer a simple question. Are the home tests lateral flow or PCR? Sorry we don't know. What? You are supposed to know this information! Ridiculous!
