Dr. D O’Hare – Ormeau Health Centre belfast

Not even worth one star. The receptionist (I believe her name is Bridge) was absolutely awful. Does not care for people in need of urgent medical assistance. I was told to pick up a prescription for a recurring infection based on my medical hystory. Had one bad episode of the same infection again and ask to be seen as an emergency instead of going to the out of hours. Dr.Diamond apparently doesn't mind having people suffer. Requested that I'd wait the next day and provide a sample before giving me any antibiotics when all my past infections were showing in my history as an evidence of my condition. Disgraceful... Out of hours Dr. told she should have taken my history and all the tests I've had to go through into account and make sure I got a prescription. Thanks to them I won't be spending my evening in agony!

The doctors are nice here. I just rang up to book an appointment but honestly, that one lady I was on the phone with was very rude. Didn't even ask me for a name, wasn't even bothered.

my advise would be never to get appoitment with Dr Diamond she would waste your time one of the worst dr i met ...NO only the worst dr i met.

Where do you start with this place... -staff who don't do their job and couldn't care less. - get seen 50minutes after your scheduled appointment with absolutely no apology -the place is like a refugee camp no harm youd come out with a lot more than you went in with

Doctors are excellent and provide excellent care. Appointments can sometimes take 2-3 weeks however this is normal in most surgeries due to demand. Some of the reception staff are not very friendly at all (mostly the females). I always hope I get a male voice when I call the surgery as they are normally more helpful. All in all a very good practice.

Worst practice i have ever been with, they refuse to give you your medication, then they change how often they give them to you without notifying you, then when you decide to leave and are to by another GP practice to contact Ormeau Health centre to get a 1 month supply of medication they (Ormeau Health Centre) refuse point blank to do it and say its the practice policy not only that, the staff are lazy and disrespectful and just refuse to help in any way whatsoever.

Excellent family practice, providing services in many specialist areas to everyone in the community.

Receptionists couldn't be bothered. I rang to get my prescription updated on their app. They sent me a text message saying the doctor would sort it, week later checked online, nothing, no change on the app. So, either they don't listen or they can't even be bothered. As for that "manager" Claire good luck dealing with her or any of the female reception staff. Currently moving to a more professional practise, good luck to the ones staying.
