Dr Counsell and Partners – Pikes Lane Centre bolton

Yes sometimes very hard to get a appointment but I've always had good service especially from Dr. Mirza and Dr Counsell who are excellent doctors.

These kind of sugeries are responsible for putting pressure on A&E. Never pick up phone or no appointment available

Can never get an appointment! Phone appointments only, and good luck trying to ring at 8am in the morning! Ridiculous system, no wonder they have bad reviews! Time go change my GP!

I've been turned off my appointment at 17:00 for being late eight minute . I'm wondering if there are only 10 minutes accorded to every patient, if so , for my previous appointment I was delayed for 35 minutes with no excuses, I hope they can explain that...

This is the worst doctors you could go to, they have 1 phone line and do not communicate properly. Rux isn't a person to care for anyone but her self at the front desk. As long as she's OK it doesn't matter weather you get an appointment or not for mental health or for pain. I rung them up yestoday for an appointment, was told someone would ring me in the morning time. No one did, now they are saying its because I've got my privet settings turned off because I don't appreciate have the numbers that sit and ring my phone with out giving me there details constantly going off. I explained I don't have this and someone will need to ring me normally. For some reason Rux was explicit about that not happening when I said it has happened before, because I've had them ring me before with no problem. I will be going higher with this. My GP records will show she shouldn't have declined me. I'm not in the right state of mind and my bodys in pain I've been going here for a while now and they haven't done anything but shuv me on depression tablets when I'm pretty certain its not that but something else. Avoid at all costs

I really don't understand the bad reviews, been with the practice for about 5 years now and they're great. Compared to my old doctors surgery they're a breath of fresh air. Due to NHS cuts and Covid-19 things are not great but Dr Counsell and her team are doing the best they can. Also, if you're polite to them they're polite with you, if you go in shouting the odds then of course there will be problems!

Yes you have to wait for appointments but it’s like any surgery these days. GP shortages, NHS cuts. It’s not their fault. Reception staff are busy but brilliant and do their jobs. The Drs in the practice are brilliant too and know what they are talking about
