Dr Spencer-Smith is an exceptional sports physician specialising in musculoskeletal treatment. I've worked with Cath as a recipient of her referrals for Dietetics for several years now; and all patients who have received her care have only had positive feedback. Her care and attention to 'tricky' musculoskeletal issues, chronic under-training or other sports performance issues is incredible. She comes highly recommended from one clinician to another, don't look any further!

I honestly can not commend Dr. Spencer-Smith enough. I was having a hard time with the NHS after an accident left me with a rare and controversial type of hip fracture, and decided rather nervously to invest privately (I don't have insurance). It was the best decision I could have made. For the first time I felt I was with a doctor who actually understood the fracture (this woman more than knows her stuff!), who took the time to explain things thoroughly to me, who took my future health seriously, and who gave me a good treatment plan to follow. Whereas I had different advice with the NHS (and yet all would tell me 'you'll be fine, but not like you were'), she was the first to be firm but positive - I'd have to take my healing more seriously, but I could get back to normal. Dr Spencer-Smith is also one of the warmest, kindest and down-to-earth doctors I've come across, and I've lived in over six countries. I'd recommend her to anyone, she has re-affirmed my faith in the medical profession.

Dr Cath is by far the most exceptional sports doctor I have had the pleasure to work with. Her kindness, professionalism, timely responses and desire to go ‘the extra mile’ to help people is unparalleled. Patients continually comment on how, positive, efficient and empathetic she is. I for one could not recommend this brilliant woman highly enough, and feel extremely fortunate to have met her both for my patients and myself.

Dr Cath Spencer Smith is a very lucky find in the busy world of sports medicine in London. She is the best in her field and as a physiotherapist she is my top go to for patients that are suffering with hip, groin, pelvic, spinal pain and running related injuries to name just a few! She is dedicated to her patients care and operates with such a friendly and personable demeanour that makes anyone feel comfortable in her presence. Whatever your concern she will be sure to help you get the answers you need and the treatment plan you deserve. Thanks Cath!!

Dr Catherine Spenser-Smith is extraordinarily knowledgeable, exceptionally astute and she really listens to her patients. I have been a physio for more than twenty years and have rarely come across such an incredible combination. I would not hesitate to recommend her to my patients, my friends and my family. Even if you have seen lots of doctors, physios, osteos, chiros or other health professionals in the past and are feeling a little disheartened by us all, please see Dr Cath, she will be a breath of fresh air, cut through all the noise and will work hard to set you on the road to recovery.

5/ 5

Dr Catherine Spencer-Smith has been my go to sports doctor for a number of years. She has huge expertise in managing endurance athletes, with persistent tendon related pain, bone stress injuries and persistent hip/knee and ankle problems, who represent the majority of my patient caseload. She is able provide fantastic patient care; combining patient empathy and expert guidance on the optimal treatment/rehabilitation plan. Dr Cath is able to do this in a super friendly and supportive way to both patient and clinicians. I have been lucky enough to have Dr Cath provide her expert care to my own family, and I would recommend Dr Cath unreservedly to patients and any clinicians needing sports medicine expertise.
