We've just spent two nights here visiting our son who is currently studying at UWE. We booked two ensuite rooms and were given adjacent rooms on the top floor. Nick and Patricia are very friendly hosts, and offer a really nice breakfast, with plenty of choice to suit all tastes.
The property is located in a very nice area of Bristol, with a good choice of cafes, restaurants, pubs and even a Waitrose Local and a small cinema all within very easy walking distance.
It was so nice to just park our car outside the B&B on the Friday lunchtime, and not have to drive it again until Sunday morning after we had checked out. There is parking available on the avenue, and we didn't have any problems finding a space close to the B&B.
It's less than two miles in to the city centre, and we got the bus in on the Saturday, which can be caught from either of the end of the avenue at very regular intervals for just £3 return, which means that you don't have to pay the expensive car parking charges in the city centre.
Bristol Zoo, which we visited on the Sunday, and the Clifton Suspension Bridge, are both only a few minutes drive from the B&B.
This will definitely be our go to B&B when next visiting our son, with the added bonus for us that the B&B is located only a few minutes drive from his house.
