What a wonderful discovery. I arrived at 10pm on a wet and windy night and was greeted by the proprietor, who was so friendly and welcoming. My room was immaculate. My bed was extremely comfortable. The entire place was spotless and beautifully presented. Breakfast did not disappoint. It's a calm, quiet and relaxing place to stay. Highly reccommended.

We've just spent two nights here visiting our son who is currently studying at UWE. We booked two ensuite rooms and were given adjacent rooms on the top floor. Nick and Patricia are very friendly hosts, and offer a really nice breakfast, with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. The property is located in a very nice area of Bristol, with a good choice of cafes, restaurants, pubs and even a Waitrose Local and a small cinema all within very easy walking distance. It was so nice to just park our car outside the B&B on the Friday lunchtime, and not have to drive it again until Sunday morning after we had checked out. There is parking available on the avenue, and we didn't have any problems finding a space close to the B&B. It's less than two miles in to the city centre, and we got the bus in on the Saturday, which can be caught from either of the end of the avenue at very regular intervals for just £3 return, which means that you don't have to pay the expensive car parking charges in the city centre. Bristol Zoo, which we visited on the Sunday, and the Clifton Suspension Bridge, are both only a few minutes drive from the B&B. This will definitely be our go to B&B when next visiting our son, with the added bonus for us that the B&B is located only a few minutes drive from his house.

It was an overall good experience. However the location is not the most central. A solid place to stay overnight but not somewhere I'd necessarily want to call my home. The food was subpar, yet somehow amazing. The rooms where also very comfortable.

Great attention to detail & very good value. Immaculately clean, decor is dated - the price reflects this. Lovely bed & bedding, good bathroom, wi-fi & tea/coffee/hairdryer etc. Very good choice at breakfast and the cooked offering is fresh and tasty. Nick is a great host. Location is in a lovely area of Bristol with restaurants/pub/Waitrose/cool cafe/independent shops and even a cinema ! - all within walking distance. I will stay again & say yes to more work in Bristol, having found this place.
