Wonderful building, spacious room and very accommodating staff and owner. We arrived windswept and bedraggled after walking out of a nearby hotel. The staff immediately came to our aid and presented us with a delicious warm cookie. The breakfasts were also delicious and so was the evening meal we had on the Saturday night. We also made use of the Spa, which is quite small, but you can have additional treatments there if you wish.

We came for Xmas 1afternoon tea, this is our 3rd visit. Previously tha cakes were homemade, we were shown a variety of teas to choose from. Today the cakes were synthetic and inedible . The substance served with the scones was unidentifiable. This has been without a doubt the worst afternoon tea we have ever experienced. The waitress, Charlotte was wonderful and attentive. Kept awake all night due to noise outside, was not allowed to move rooms when I’d complained about this 3 times, then was informed by reception I would receive a refund, to which they have now said I will not be refunded. Manager was rude when explaining this constantly talking over me.

Professional and friendly staff from check in to check out, our room was clean and spacious. The only thing I would say to the hotel is not to hide the tea and coffee tray in the cupboard with the iron, abit odd. Would happily stay again.
