The price of the hotel was great, it’s not the most modern, but the staff are more than helpful, it’s in a perfect location. I would stay here if your going to be exploring a lot. If you are one to spend the whole trip at the hotel then possibly look elsewhere as it’s more good for a good mattress, convenient location, included buffet which wasn’t the best but not bad and good for a drink after a big day out. The location though is a selling point with good bars and eating spots around. Also free parking was really great for having a rental car.

Lovely place to stay. On the esplanade, with great views and breezes. The buffet breakfast is very good and everything is very fresh...the staff have the patience of a saint, with guests who cannot grasp the simple dining mandates. The Vine room had great food and a lovely relaxing atmosphere and the staff were wonderful too. Had an issue with a house keeping incident, which was promptly resolved when reported to reception. Would stay here again.

Great staff and helped us with planning our trip. Especially jozsef, awesome dude he is. He was very helpful and gave us a late checkout as well. Hotel is right in the city, so you save a lot of travel time. No complaints and strongly recommend.

On the fence about whether I’d stay here again. Some positives, but there were a few things that were disappointing about our stay. Breakfast was average. Over cooked eggs and little variety on a multi-day stay. Could benefit from better coffee as well, e.g. a pod machine. We had issues with room and poolside food service. Only half of our first room service order showed up, so had to wait for the second meal to be cooked. On our second attempt to order room service, I left multiple messages as the voicemail suggested, but never received a call back. When I did get through, it turned out the menu in our room was out of date so they didn’t even have what we wanted. Lastly, our poolside food order was quite slow, which the staff member delivering it advised was because of a function being held at the hotel. It was also incorrect, but we chose to eat it anyway rather than wait. Had issues with our room key on each day of our stay, leaving us locked out of the car park and our room on multiple occasions. Had to dash to reception to get new keys cut each day for some reason. On a positive note, the location was great. Nice and quiet, but still close to everything. The staff were also amazing, and were apologetic about the issues we encountered. The pool area was fabulous. Comfy chairs and plenty of options for shade. Lastly, the welcome cookie was a nice touch!

The paint is peeling off the cornice and ceiling. This old gal is ready for a renovation. The pool tiles are lift. There is never enough pool towels. You cannot get served from the pool side window, if there are customers on the Vine bar side. The breakfast was very expensive and this didn't include a real coffee. Lots of items where missing and not refilled, at a 0800 sitting. We didn't receive any free drinks as advertised for cancellation of room service. There are ants in the bedrooms. Mould in the bathroom. Air-conditioning was poor, we needed to call for a fan. The view is wonderful and in walking distance of the restaurants, shops and jetty.
