Doors Galore sheffield

Helpful when choosing the doors and fittings and delivered when promised. Unfortunately some of the fittings were the wrong colour, one of the twelve doors was damaged, the original latches and deadbolts were too short for the doors, and the replacement latches were a slightly different length to the deadbolts despite supposedly being the same. The finished effect of the doors is good but the hassle in getting to this point means I probably won't use Doors Galore again.

A terrible experience, spent over £2000 on doors and Bi-Folds, was told that the Bi-Folds were going to be 2 months, not a problem as we ordered them early. We were ready for them once the 2 months was up but was told that it would be another couple of months, found a much better place in Derby that had stock, so got a refund. Ordered some specific latches to match the door handles we bought from them, when they arrived they were not from the manufacturer and the order was incomplete, as part of the order had to be from the specific manufacturer, they said they need a bigger order to obtain these from the manufacturer A two and a half round trip wasted, asked for a refund. No apologies and total ignorance from Simon, who's only comment was repeatedly saying 'don't know, the person who ordered them wasn't there'' Found another retailer, ordered the same latches, next day delivery. Terrible attitude/after sales/service

Disgusting service! I would advise everyone not to deal with this company. I ordered 8 doors, 4 of which are damaged. We were offered a measly £30 discount or have them taken away that day or have to pay for collection carriage. I was not around to inspect them and relied on my wife's observations. After my wife being intimidated by the courier for an hour and calls, from the so called director, to me whilst working. I emailed later in the day to say I would access the situation on my return from work. I discovered that there was indeed damage to at least 4 doors and because my wife didn't return the doors immediately we would be charged for return. Unfortunately the director does not understand the concept of distance selling regulations and I have to say was nothing but obnoxious in her responses to my email's so good luck if you purchase from this back street outfit.
