I've always been attracted by bric-a-bracs, second-hand and antique shops, so whenever I pass 'Diplocks' I can rarely stop myself from walking in. And without any exception, I am always disappointed. A bunch of grossly overpriced items jumbled together with seemingly little respect for either objects or customers by the premises' owner. Speaking of whom: today he snapped at a man and his toddler to 'GET OUT'. Wow. I'm not walking in again.

Abusive owner who got very very nasty when I asked him why he was not wearing a mask when all of his customers were expected to. Repeatedly called me the C word and threw me out. Would give no stars but can't. Avoid this really unpleasant old bloke. He does not deserve a business or to be exposed to the general public.

Went and saw an antique oil burner for a relative. Had a look at the burner and just was on phone with our relative regarding it. Asked the guy regarding the price, and our relative has decided to come and see herself. As we walked out, one of his “mate” on the door said “I bet they have stolen”. I was really shocked at that snipe comment, but I just continued walking as they continued chatting. Really shocked and Disappointed with this as I do go in there quite often since I live in the north laines. I am leaving this review to express how inappropriate that comment was. If you think I have stolen something, confront me? No? Wont be going back at all, and will avoid this place.

Indoor/outdoor second-hand dealer with reasonable prices. One of the places we like to pop in on a regular basis. Not always successfully but sometimes find a good bargain (slightly wobbly GPLAN chairs for a tenner each the best so far). Reasonably good turn around on stock so pays to revisit.

So much to find here, one of my favourite spot to get plant pots. Usually some terracotta pots knocking about. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's cash only, mind which is a little annoying so make sure you get some before :)
