Caketastic cakes and stacked to the rafters with staff who give it to you straight and cut out the chaff! And (mostly) lovely for a date too. When I went here with my date, we chatted in the sunshine and had a lot in common. Problem was, all the staff are lovely too! A little bit too lovely, because when I was smiling and my gaze lingered a little too long on the lady bringing my brownie and oolong tea, my date got up and left! I don't know what the problem was. I chased her down the street and offered to pay for half of the cost of her frappucino but she still didn't turn back. If you like to be around lovely women, good place to go for coffee. But very bad for date! Kindly hire less attractive staff so I can take my dates here and won't be distracted! Please like if you found this review helpful.

Lovely assistant came and eased my burden by taking a large item I'd picked up, so I could continue browsing-on. Wonderful gesture; very rare to get that in a shop!!!

Very nice little restaurant, cozy environment and friendly staff. great choice of food and drinks including wine. Reasonable pricing too. Easy to find, upstairs in the cookshop! No parking outside but obviously plenty of parking in the city center.
