I have just recently moved to Cambridge (from Denmark) when I two days ago unfortunately broke quite a piece of one of my teeth. As I don´t know any dentists here, I just called a random clinic for help. They had no time to see me, so the lady on the phone recommended me Devonshire House Dental Practice as she was a former employee herself and spoke warmly about the place. I then called them and was extremely lucky to learn that they had just one appointment left for the very next morning at 9 am. I have always been terrified of dentists, so it was quite anxiety provoking for me to go to a total stange dentist in a foreign country. - But I had NO reason to be scared at all. My dentist Dr. Assad Khan was a super nice and calm person full of empathy and patience. He was gentle and did a brilliant job fixing my broken tooth the very same day within an hour, wow and without me crying in terror! Dear Assad Khan thanks a lot for that very positive experience I had yesterday morning 04.02.2020 in the clinic. You are a great and super pleasant dentist :-) P.S. I just want to mention that the clinic is at the high end in terms of prices, and that is the only reason for not giving Devonshire House Dental Practice 5 stars.

I had root canal treatment at this practice and they could not do enough for me during the procedure. There was a thorough review to see if I needed this done and then as work progressed an explanation of what was happening. It all helped to reassure me of the progress. The surroundings are very good and all staff very attentive. I would recommend this practice for this type of procedure.

Thoroughly pleased with my local dentist referred visit to Devonshire House. The entire team were efficient, friendly and helpful. I felt as if I were in safe hands throughout and despite having three injections, remedial root canal work and a 90 minute appointment, the whole experience was pain free.

Everyone here is very polite and helpful. The hygienist described my teeth as 'pretty good' which is the highest tooth related praise I have ever received. They also gave me some free floss picks and tooth paste.

I was referred to the practice for a scan. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very professional. Bev, the radiographer who carried out the scan, was calm, reassuring and achieved the perfect balance between chattiness and efficiency. The premises are very well appointed, with a spacious and airy waiting room. As stated on the website, there is ample car parking.

Everything went smooth on my first appointment - thank you. Easy to book, easy to reach the place, plenty of parking, very good reception and excellent service from my dentist. Came up with a very good solution for a long lasting problem I have, we are still working through it with clear steps. Really good temporary work on my tooth until it's ready to get the permanent one. Hope the next visits will go as well as the first. Good communication of the cost of the visit as well which is always good. Thank you for the service so far. Keep up the excellent work you're doing.

This was my first appointment at Devonshire House and I was very favourably impressed. The welcome was friendly, while at the same time taking appropriate precautions in the context of Covid. The dentist herself was highly professional and an excellent communicator; she took the trouble to explain fully the nature of the dental problem and the possible treatments. I am awaiting her written report before making a decision on the best way forward.

Met with a welcoming smile as soon as I stepped into the reception area. As a new patient, I found Mr Girgis’ pleasant and unhurried manner, most reassuring. I feel confident of his expertise and that he will soon be able to offer a solution to my dental problems.

I saw Dr Puneet Patel for a gum inspection and to discuss possible treatment options. I liked his relaxed and friendly "bedside" manner, which included also asking about my mental health which I thought was a nice touch given the current ongoing craziness. The exam itself was very thorough and I liked him showing me on screens against x-rays of what the options are. I now have some treatment options to consider.
