[TO THE 1-STAR VOTERS: Don't forget the way that your experience has made you feel next time there's an election; because that's where you should be focusing your anger. These people, on the other hand, have taken up these careers and occupations because they want to help people, particularly when they're in their hour of need - you bad-mouthing them under any contrary assumption is ludicrous. They're working with the best that that've got, and any more "no wonder the NHS is so bad"-type comments should be directed at the utter scum in office right now giving these professionals so little to work with. Anyway, onto the review...]
I've been with Devaney for about 7-8 years now, and have had on the whole a really good experience with them. Sure, booking an appointment isn't the easiest thing in the world to do, but it never ever is, at any other GP. That one complaint aside, first off, biggest point: one of their GPs saved my life a few years back. How could I give them anything less than 5 stars after that?
But they've also consistently helped me with a range of other weird and (not so) wonderful ailments over the years, always in a friendly and professional manner (and that's speaking about all staff members, in all roles that I've dealt with). The place is well looked-after, clean and tidy, and has a large-enough waiting room that you can usually sit yourself far enough away from other coughing and spluttering patients; which is always preferable. There's a car park and a pharmacy on-site, too.
Lastly, I just wanted to say something about my experience there with the Covid vaccination process: This would have gotten the place 5 stars all on its own, too - the staff were somehow both really quick, efficient and professional, but also friendly, welcoming, and really able to put you at ease.
