Derby Family Medical Centre derby

Where do i start from..... I have no issues with the doctors and nurses at this surgery, i think they are doing a fabulous job. The problem lies with the front facing receptionists and the practice manager. The receptionists have very little knowledge on customer service and fail to deliver a service at a acceptable level. Their pitch, pace and tone of voice towards customers is unacceptable. I believe the receptionists are a carbon copy of the practice manager !!! Free advice to the doctors; please review your management hierarchy.

The worst GP surgery in Derby HANDS DOWN! Where do I start? Firstly you have to call about 30 times and even then you are not likely to get an appointment. Secondly, the receptionists are a SHAMBLES they cannot competently deliver customer service to patients. They need to FIX UP! Thirdly, most of the GP's and Nurses don't care about HELPING patients they are concerned SOLELY on meeting prescription targets and do NOTHING for patients. Fourthly, some of the GP's are rude, abrupt, and obnoxious when patients inform them of their ailment and some have a VERY BASIC grasp of the English language. Fifthly, DO NOT go to this surgery. Any surgery is BETTER then this ONE. This surgery is a JOKE and EMBARRASSMENT to the healthcare sector!!!

Good doctors sometime difficult to get to see the doctors early but they are busy.

Worst ever medical centre... Too many Staff and doctors but still can't get a appointment.....

Pointless having a phone in the surgery nobody picks it up to make an appointment I ring at 8am after 60 calls no answer still busy or phone off the hook 8:50am eventually get though no DR available what a joke at reception

After 77 attempts from 8am for a hour trying to get through but the phone being busy i was told there's no appointments available. No surprise. I've even complained to the line manager once and we've had no response of our complaint, just had someone call us and listen to us ranting. They do nothing it's pointless they don't tell you the outcome of it. I only needed to see the Doc after he told me to make a appointment to see if they still need to increase or reduce the dose of my medication. The receptionists are rude. I've had a really bad experience with doctor called DR zaman. I do love Dr Barbara and Dr partcha and the nurse. The care they provide is 10/10. But it's frustrating trying to get through to anyone. There are 9 people from my family moving to another surgery. And I'm glad they see all patients face to face for everyone else's reference its 'the lane medical centre.'

I had Really bad experience with that surgery. I they no give oppoitment. When u ring 8 o'clock in the morning. they don't pick up phone. When they pick up phone after 10 they always says they don't have oppoitment. Receptionist are very rude. Doctor zaman is very rude person.. Im going to change the surgery.

The worst place to book an appointment. You wll call them over Hundred time then someone will answer. Extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. Even don't deserve a single star.

Dr Piracha and Dr Zaman are great and so are the nurses. However the reception staff are shockingly rude! Unfortunately it’s always been the case at this practice.

The Doctors and nurses are excellent and are very polite. But the recipetionists/front desk staff are rude and they hang up or shout at you while on the phone, completely ignoring your inquiry. Now I'm most likely to change the gp. My son is 8 weeks and he hasn't been checked and he needs to have his jabs. They are ignorant when it comes to the scheduling appointments.
