Absolutely shocking surgery, avoid it at all costs. I moved to this surgery as I'm a uni student in Leicester and as I have a few prescriptions it seemed wise to move, I regret that decision more than anything. I have a chronic illness and I've been taking a specific pill for it for about 2 years. When I called to arrange this prescription I was asked about it and then confirmed that I would receive it, I was given a different pill but was promised it was exactly the same but cheaper for the surgery to purchase. I felt quite uncomfortable changing but as I was promised that it was the same I decided to try it. it wasn't the same at all, received horrible side effects after trying it out for a week. I called back and they said I'd be put back on my old one, today I went to collect it and it was a completely different pill again. I went to the reception to tell them I was given the wrong one again and that I didn't feel comfortable trying a different pill again, that I just wanted the one I was on before. A second party joined in, possibly a nurse, and told me she'd put me on this second one as she really wanted me to try it and in a condescending way explained that once again it was exactly the same. I continued to explain that I didn't want to take it and that I felt comfortable taking the pill that I had originally but I was ignored and told over and over it was exactly the same, which didn't prove true with the first one they suggested. I don't think it's irrational or unreasonable to ask to take a pill that you know works for you and that won't harm you. After this incident I really cannot go back to this horrifying surgery and will be moving to the one in my hometown. avoid this surgery at all costs.
