Very nice traditional bakery. Nice and tasty pasteries, freshly made. Good coffee as well. They also have sandwiches that look nice although I haven't tried those. Good service at a very reasonable price. Recommended!

Fantastic service! They'd sold out of fruit cake for cheese but very kindly contacted two other Days shops to track one down for me and it was sent on the delivery van ready for me to collect the next day!

I visited the shop today and ordered a flat white and a plain butter croissant. Probably the nicest croissant I have ever eaten, soft, crispy and buttery, enough to make the french jealous. The coffee however was severely lacking. (I brew bean to cup at home so I know what I should be drinking) The flat white comes served as a latte in a very large cup. It was tongue burningly hot, definitely over the recommended temperatures, either they are overheating the milk or adding boiling water.. Coffee tasted bitter and too hot, no air bubbles in the milk to give a velvety smoothness of a flat white. Disappointing because the pastry was so lovely.

Despite arriving during opening hours they wouldn't serve us coffees even though they were served in disposables. Might as well use Costa or Starbucks as obviously the small independent doesn't want your business
