5/ 5

Absolutely incredible service from Marty and co. His attitude is phenomenal and he has unlimited time for you and your needs as a customer. The kilt even comes with a 24hr helpline, which says it all. The kilts themselves are top quality and if you're in the market for something a little bit out-there or unique, this is your place. Big up, Marty and Davison's Kilt Hire. THE place to hire a kilt in Edinburgh.

5/ 5

I've hired from Davison several times now and I won't go anywhere else anymore. The range of outfits is incredible, traditional or otherwise, and once you have been measured the fits are perfect, not something I can say about other Kilt hire businesses that I've tried. Marty is highly knowledgeable and passionate about his work. His advice and suggestions if you need them are very helpful, he aims to please and get you looking your best and gives you his time. No appointment necessary and he was very accommodating with me the last time when I didn't give much notice. My own wedding outfit came from here, I have returned for other events and I will do so again.

Fantastic kilts and highland dress. Service is incredible - friendly, knowledgeable and professional

Fantastic kilts and highland dress. Service is incredible - friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Marty has a great eye for what suits a particular individual. He made our slightly dubious groomsman feel firstly comfortable and by the end,he felt great in his outfit. He'd have gone home in it if he could. Don't let the shop front deceive - this is a class outfitter. No appointments required by the way.

I have previously used Davison Menswear and had a positive experience so went to use them again. I had tried calling ahead a couple of times to no avail but thought I would still try and pop in. I walk in and the person working there was talking to someone else. A while later I was still not acknowledged or given an estimate for how long this chat with someone who clearly was not a customer would go on for. I decided to go get a few other bits and pieces sorted and come back. I return and exactly the same - zero acknowledgement or desire to serve a customer.
