Exceptionally poor customer service. Even asking for assistance at Reception is made to feel like a big ask. Quick enough to contact you about getting your money but will literally ignore your communications to discuss a change in membership/cancellation etc. Average gym equipment and fitness classes average in quality also. Not worth the price tag!

Phoned David Lloyd Southampton last night to ask about taking my grandchildren swimming, was told it would be fine it's just weekend's nonmembers aren't allowed. It took us half an hour to get there as the motorway was busy to be told they weren't allowed in, it was members only. Not only was it very disappointing for the children but they really need to talk to their staff to ensure they are giving out the correct information. I have been let down a few times now by the staff and standards and for the amount they charge it is not acceptable I will be cancelling my membership.

This is a review specifically in relation to Kevin in the Sales team. I just wanted to say that he is very professional and a credit to what good customer service should look like. The club itself is also enormous with some of the best facilities i have ever seen.

I was a member for over a year. Considering the prices charged each month I would expect more, I've seen 3 star hotels with nicer facilities. I did use the membership to visit other clubs and they really made my home club look poor.
