I'm from Catalonia. I was visiting Liverpool with my family and we bought some cheesecakes here. It was the best cheesecake I have ever eat in my life!

Bought a whole Guinness cake to share (begrudgingly) with my work mates. Disappeared in minutes. Several exclamations as "the best cake ever". I agree!

Got red velvet and carrot cake - to die for

My sister lives in Liverpool, not far from here, and we always visit now when I see her. She is gluten intolerant and her partner dairy intolerant and they both can find something every time they go. I am fortunate enough not to have any intolerances so have the pick of the shop! I have had the red velvet cake (myself and boyfriend love it!) and also the brownie. I look forward to trying more in the future!

The best cakes bar none. I have been a regular customer for many years and have never been disappointed. The Guinness cake and the Norwegian almond cake are my favourites, but everything is good. Do not miss out if you are in the area!!!!

I thought I could go in and buy a freshly baked cake… the cakes were frozen - I had left the birthday cake buying to the last day thinking I could get a fresh one…. Soo disappointed, we got the mixed selection - coffee cake had the strangest taste, ginger cake no flavour - not for us..

Dafna’s has been round for years, it’s always been a place I’ve always wanted to visit when I was as young as five...I’m now twenty seven and this year February would be the first time I’ve ever visited and I’ve been back to try more of their cakes. You can tell it’s homemade and the prices are reasonable but if you visit to you it will be money well spent. I believe they also sell homemade jams and chutneys either they make or from independent shops in Liverpool although please correct me if I’m mistaken. Overall I highly recommend this shop. The only reason why I’ve never visited was because the store opens 9am-5.30pm and I’d be at work or school but this year I was furlough which gave me an excuse to finally pop in.

Banana Walnut cake is my favorite, and I miss it very much…
