Miserable jobsworth clerk takes the rules to the grave with smug satisfaction in charging me £7 difference in price bands for a difference of 1gramme. The other blonde lady is very nice.

Fab little post office :) It's so good to have a local one where all the staff are fast, efficient and friendly, and you don't have to queue for that long. Of course there are odd occasions where there is a little queue, but that's nothing compared to the 3/4 of an hour you'd most often have to queue in the Birkenhead one (when it was there). Country-wide post offices are disappearing fast - so support local!! #saveourpostoffices

All of the staff are lovely - no exceptions. They have been working extra hard in the difficult circumstances of this awful pandemic to make sure that everyone can benefit from having a small local post office & convenience shop. We have nothing but praise for the wonderful team at this post office.

same as all the other comments - the blonde lady is so lovely, as is the man who works in there. HOWEVER the absolute jobsworth with the glasses i think her name is HELEN? is the most foul and miserable worker i have come across. she really gets people down, this is my local post office/shop and now i completely avoid it at all costs i would rather travel further than be served by her. her attitude is vile and she clearly isn't fit for the job.

First time I've read or left a review re DH PO. Very surprised at the comments made re one of the staff...I've always found her to be helpful and professional....just because she doesn't smile on demand is no reason to assume she's not a nice person. She is after all at work. It's not the fastest of P.O's but its local and we'd all miss it. As for the wait times...there is usually only 1 staff member on duty who deal with parcels, letters, queries, groceries lottery etc etc etc. Give the girl a break! p.s. yes, I mean the one with the glasses! p.p.s. as for the 'jobsworth' comments....rules are rules!.
