Done a service, next day on the way home shower of oil over windscreen followed by engine light. Inspection the following day revealed the oil filter had come off on the journey, obviously not tightened up to the correct torque. Won't be using again as this could have been much worse, especially as I was on a dual carriageway.

I was really impressed. I went to my regular garage and was quote £207 for the fitting and replacement of my drivers side car window motor (my window kept falling down). I thought that sounded very steep to fit something so cheap....but hey I realise there's a lot of work in some of these things. Anyhow...just to be sure, I asked a friend for a recommendation and he suggest DH Autos. The price fell to £138! And, even thought they couldnt do the work until after the weekend (it was a Friday) Aidy said he'd happily store it in the garage over the weekend so it was safe. Thumbs up all round...and I've just booked my MOT with them.
