To anyone thinking of using Crunch to manage their accounts please look elsewhere, they did a terrible job at managing our finances and cost us time and money. We got absolutely no where with making a complaint, they just passed the buck from one incompetent staff member to another. You are just paying for an invoicing platform with very little support and management from actual accountants. Most of the time you are just dealing with call centre staff with very little experience. GET A REAL ACCOUNTANT TO MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNTS - NOT CRUNCH!

So disappointed. Crunch was good when I started with them about 18 months ago, but recent experiences have been very much lacking. I have two companies registered with them for accounts and pay roll etc, yet the service I receive is minimal. I will be moving accountants in the next week - here are a few reasons why: 1/ There no longer seems to be an account manager, but instead a "services team" - speak to a different person each time, and I have received some quite conflicting advice. 2/ I needed to register for VAT, which I brought up several times on the phone, this wasn't done and after me chasing them I am now in a horrible process where I've had to retroactively register and will have to re-issue 4 months worth of invoices to my clients (possibly more). It was their job as my accountant to have monitored this - they should have been telling me to register for VAT rather than the other way round! Re-issuing invoices looks unprofessional, is a massive waste of time, and was very avoidable. 3/ I have one day to do my invoicing this month (today), between very hectic business and schedule travels. It seems today the software isn't working and is not allowing me to create invoices, for some unknown reason. I have called multiple times and there is nobody that can help and no explanation for why it isn't working. Not being able to create invoices when I need to is a pretty fundamental flaw! 4/ I recently got a mortgage, and getting accurate company information to send to my broker was very difficult. The reports downloaded from the software were incorrect (showing incorrect dates etc.) and the team at Crunch didn't know how to correct this. It made the whole process really far more stressful than it needed to be.

My experience was not the best in the begging but then I was lucky enough to get Nick Lewis as a client manager. Nick is the man. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I am pretty bad doing anything on their website but Nick always walks me through very patiently and gives me all the help I need. I am really happy with the current situation and I feel they definitely deserve 5 stars based on my recen experience. Nick is awesome.

Never ending error messages from the system combined with "oh I've just realised you need to this and that and we're done... (not)" emails. They supposed to make my life easier, turned out they made it quite stressful. Zero flexibility comes with a high price. They are nice people though over the phone.

All seemed very good from the beginning and I've been a Crunch customer for 5 years. Since then, their service has declined and their prices have continued to increase with little justification for what they are actually doing to improve their service. The biggest mistake I ever made as a contractor/freelancer was using Crunch. They offer very little in the way of support unlike an actual accountant who will do everything to stop you paying more tax than you should. They claim to work in a tax efficient way yet they do nothing to break down the bills for the laymen's such as myself who are held at the mercy of their 'estimations'. You are assigned a support agent - I have no idea who this person is as it keeps changing. Their service has caused me untold amounts of stress and forced me into paying off debt well into next year! They are very good at taking your money but less so at helping you retain some from the taxman! THANKS FOR NOTHING CRUNCH!

Crunch have been really great for someone who is new at running a Ltd company. They offer the online accounting platform as their primary product, but every time I have gotten in touch with them and had questions (sometimes the same question again!), they have been really responsive and helpful. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend giving Crunch a go if you're running a business in the UK and especially if you're a new business owner! Top job!

Crunch are simply Amazing! Both the software AND the Team! The software made my life much easier, whilst the Team are a pleasure to work with! I am grateful to Aidan for the clarity he brought into my issue, a few days ago. Very knowledgeable and with such a great attitude, it can be clearly seen he enjoys supporting the clients they have. All of the members of the Team who have supported me so far, in their different roles, are all amazing in their unique ways: Olivia, Andrea. Whenever I contact the Crunch Team, I know they will help me in my business. I am very happy that I switched to Crunch a few months ago. This is one of the best business decisions I made lately. Thank you, dear Team (and thank you to the Founder too!) :)

I've been with Crunch for a few years now. I've sometimes felt a little bit forgotten, like it's just my monthly fee their after... but to be fair, whenever I actually need anything, they're really helpful. I had another call like that today, where Olivia ironed out something that would have taken me hours, just by getting on the phone with me and talking me through each step I needed to make. Super helpful and professional, and they know their stuff.
