Easily the best hairdresser I've ever been to. James is fantastic with cutting and colouring curly hair, enabling curls to look their best and finding the best shape of haircut to suit both face and wilful hair. I wish I'd found Cowboymod years ago!

I would recommend James to anyone! I have a ridiculous mane of curly hair and he somehow managed to bring some measure of control over it and cut into a really nice style. He's great to chat to and i wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

James is an amazing hairdresser, it was such a great experience as it was a lot of fun, and he also knew exactly what cut would look good on me! Would 100% recommend!

James is superb! I loved the final result! For the first time the colour is the one I wanted - my red hair looks super natural. Having a crazy curly hair makes life difficult sometimes when you need a hairdresser that understands and respects your hair. James is the one. I do recommend!

Be careful buying a guitar here. Bought a telecaster from him a couple of years ago. Claimed and promised it was a Japanese made tele. After I got it back to the states, I come to find it's a non name body and a really cheap squier neck. No chance to go back and return it, but should have been more careful. Have someone verify claims before you buy.

It’s always a terrifying experience for me to give myself over to a new hairdresser...but what an amazing man. I’ve never had so many curls! I couldn’t have had a better post covid revamp anywhere else...thank you, thank you. PS. Great conversation too!

Would 100% recommend, especially to people with curls! James managed to work some serious magic on my dodgy lockdown diy haircut and I left looking (and feeling!) like a whole new person! He was super friendly and clearly knew exactly what he was doing in terms of getting curls to frame the face nicely, all for a v reasonable student price. The shop itself is also a lovely place to be, with fun decor, nice music playing, and an adorable dog! good vibes all round :)
