I bought a small van from Cottage Cars almost a week ago. It’s been a pleasure of a company to deal with. Car sales in general get a bad name for dishonesty, pressure sales, cheap sales talk and general hassle....Cottage Cars is not one of those places! I seen a vehicle, enquired about it, paid the deposit and asked for an honest description...the description I was given didn’t do the van justice at all and it was in better shape and condition than I imagined. Kevin was a pleasure to deal with, he welcomed us, asked if we wanted a cup of tea then took us to the vehicle. He handed us the keys and told us to take our time. Incredible. I asked a few questions which Kevin helped with, asked another question that he didn’t know the answer to but instead of lying he said ‘I’m sorry I don’t know’. (After a quick google it was a normal sound the van made). From start to finish he couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to travel across the UK again to buy from Cottage Cars. Please don’t let the very few negative reviews put you off..if you ever meet Kevin you’ll see why they seem untrue and unlikely! Great garage, friendly, not pushy, great vehicles and over all an easy, hassle free purchase! Thanks again Kevin!!

After a LOT of research and test drives, I bought from Kevin at Cottage Cars as I found him helpful, not pushy or patronising, straight forward and fair in negotiation. He kindly and swiftly posted to me the parking permit I left stuck in the car I part exchanged. He helped me sort tax and insurance on his office phone/computer. He answered follow up questions I had. A decent bloke. And so far very happy with the car.

Very nice staff helpful, car is spotless inside and out. I trusted Kevin at his word about how it was running and so never needed to test drive the car. Bought a Audi from cottage cars over the weekend, George and Kevin were really helpful and patient when choosing. Answering questions I had on any of the cars I was looking at, which helped me as I don't have a clue when it comes to cars. When collecting my car it was very clean, and the team were very polite. The whole process was quick, but never felt rushed. Car dealers have a bad name but Cottage cars are defiantly one of the good guys. Couldn't recommend them enough, overall a great experience, made buying a car an enjoyable. Thanks again
