9.1.2020 I had reason to change an item for a lager size. So, I called ahead to make sure the item was in stock. Thankfully it was. Later in the day I visited and had a wonder around the store. I had a good friendly chat with Robert who, was very helpful. I also was given a discretionary discount which was a pleasant surprise. There was also a good selection of items in the sale but, I didn’t find something I needed. I’m pleased to say the gaiters were in stock again ready for the summer! Two months ago: Very good amount of stock for all seasons of all the known brands. Sadly, they were low on gaiters for the rainy days but this is down to stock control from head office. I would definitely recommend this place having bought items from the Bournemouth store previously I knew what to expect.

I was looking for hiking boots, because I got wider feet I found difficult to find right shoes. Staff member Tony was really helpful, I have tried on 4 or 5 different pairs. He was understanding and polite. Later on the same Friday I came back to look for trousers and again staff was really helpful. I hope shoes and trousers will last. Totally recommend if anyone needs hiking, walking or camping gear. I’ll come back myself if I need anything.

Well kitted shop, bought some climbing shoes. Guys were really helpful and knew their stuff.

Greatly helpful staff that have camped and or been on expeditions. The store is pretty quaint and uses the existing buildings, so it's worth a look inside even if you aren't shopping 😁
