Very tasty breakfast, charming service, great value. We arrived as they opened on a Sunday morning - place was immaculate and all the staff were welcoming. It's always good to experience a well run restaurant - this one is well worth visiting. We didn't book but judging by how busy they were it would be wise to book.

This place is okay for what it is. Definitely not haute cuisine but fairly honest food that is well served by friendly staff. I would advise not to get a table near the door in winter though. Every time the door opened, we had a blast of cold air round our legs.

I had a voucher to use here and was only told once the bill arrived that my voucher didn't apply to the whole menu. Staff were pleasant, but the whole place looked like it need d decorating and refreshing. The toilets were not very clean. The food was well cooked and presented and very enjoyable, but the environment let the place down.

Great place to eat in the centre of the city. Well created menu but slightly geared to meat eating but the vegetarian menu did come up to the mark but had to ask for it. Food served promptly and efficiently with excellent service.

The Covid 19 arrangements meant we felt safe and relaxed. The table, service and food were first class, highly recommended. The mussels were very good indeed. Visited again in Sept 2021 and delighted to say still an excellent restaurant, staff were attentive and the meal first class, this is one of our must visit restaurants.

We came across this little gem by chance, and what a find. A lovely little restaurant with delicious food, a well priced menu and wonderfully attentive staff. We stopped in for breakfast this morning and the staff couldn't have done more for us and our two little dogs. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Read to the end as this is a good review! We booked a table for my birthday and my son dropped off a surprise cake ahead of our meal and the restaurant had no record of our booking. They were however able to fit us in. When he and I arrived a member of staff approached to discuss the cake as he’d put on a list of ingredients to alert them as it was in their fridge. That blew the surprise and also let me know about the lack of booking. We laughed it off but our lovely waitress who I think was a manger was mortified. She brought us free cocktails and apologised profusely. The food was delicious , served with care and we had a great evening. And the cake was amazing and I had happy birthday sung by everyone there. It was customer service at its best so thank you Cote Salisbury for all your efforts
