I cannot comment on the quality of work however I have experienced the rude, confrontational and aggressive customer service from this company. I am normally not one to leave reviews and when I do I like them to be positive ones! I went to Conservatec on recommendation so I was really shocked given my experience. Initially I rang to organise a quote and establish the lead time from measure to fit. This was really important to me given we have our first baby on the way we wanted to ensure work was finished in good time before their arrival. We had a quote sent out to us and I asked for that to be gone over with us when the space was measured as I wasn’t sure of some of the elements I had chosen. All was organised via email on 16th September for Conservatec to come out and measure for the door on Friday 1st October to look at fitting sometime week commencing 1st November. See imaged attached of email. I passed this information on the builders who were knocking the space straight into our kitchen. Monday 27th September came and I hadn’t heard from Conservatec so I rang them to confirm a time for Friday to then be told they were unable to measure. I appreciate that sometimes lastminute commitments come up however it would have been nice to have had a phone call regarding this. I was offered two additional appointments, one for the Thursday which I was unable to make due to work commitments and wanting to talk through the door design. I questioned whether the Monday would push back the original timings given, and told that it would. Understandably this left me a little on edge given it would then push back the remaining work to be completed on time. To their credit I was then offered an appointment on the Wednesday, I asked if this could be in the morning as I had a Midwife Appointment in the afternoon. I was told this was fine. Wednesday morning came and I hadn’t heard anything so I gave Conservatec a ring to establish when they would be arriving. This is when I had one of the worst experiences of customer service I have ever been on the receiving end of. The first man I spoke to was lovely, and had also been very polite and helpful in previous conversations. He explained they were not coming the Wednesday morning, but it would be the afternoon, which I wasn’t able to do. I asked where all this lack of confusion and limited communication was coming from and he advised he was passing on the message from the man coming to measure. I asked if I could speak to him directly. From this point rather than trying to resolve the situation I was blamed for being difficult and refusing to take any appointments that had been offered to me in a really aggressive and confrontational way. I was also told that the company wouldn’t have committed to an appointment date or fitting time frame, and I explained I had this in writing via email. But again, I was in the wrong and told I was being difficult. I was also told that no one would be going over the quote and elements within it with me because this wasn’t what ‘he did’. There was no apology from the company, nor was there any attempt to meet half way by providing me a rough time of arrival in the afternoon of the Wednesday to fit around commitments I was unable to change. When I asked for this I was told that he wouldn’t say because ‘I would hold him to it’, rather than actually appreciating I was trying to establish if we could find a time that would work for us both. After a 15-minute phone call of being blamed for the situation he needed to leave for his first measurement of the day. Situation unresolved and no inclination that it ever would be. I came off the phone in tears with a 3m space in the wall in my kitchen needing to find an alternative company. From my experience Conservatec doesn’t deliver on what it says it will, has poor communication, has staff who are aggressive, confrontational and rude. If you want to be treated well by a company, rather than blamed for their incompetence I would look elsewhere.

Rang for a quote on patio doors and they promised somebody would email/ring with a quote following day. Nothing - checked SPAM. Left message on Facebook on Wednesday and they replied saying girl was off sick who does the quotes and that they would “do their very best to get a quote to me today”. It is now the following week and still nothing.
