Quick, efficient, polite and so hard working. The office was so clean after and Compass were very efficient and even let us add an hour onto the allocated time.

We have been working with Rubens and Compass Clean for nearly 2 years now and we have no hesitation in recommending them. They manage the cleaning services for several of our properties in Oxford. I have read the other negative reviews below and I don't believe they represent the company correctly, for a couple of reasons - firstly, Rubens is still trying to establish a foothold in the Oxford market, and his prices are therefore very very competitive but he has to juggle his cleaners around (some of whom are relatively new and not as experienced) and therefore sometimes they miss things. It is only human! However, Rubens is always contactable by phone and gets those minor issues resolved as soon as possible. Hence, I would rate them very highly for reliability and customer service. Quite frankly, I think the people who have rated them negatively below were expecting a Ferrari for the price of a Ford Fiesta. If you're looking for a competitively priced cleaning service in Oxford and understand that humans can sometimes make mistakes, then you will find Compass Cleaning's offering to be brilliant.

Avoid at all costs. Compass Cleaning drastically ran over on the first day of an end-of-tenancy clean due to not sending enough staff, and upon inspection had done a terrible job (including dumping rubbish - cleaning bottles etc - outside the house). They then had to return, and even then did an inadequate job but I had given up by that point. The manager was supposed to meet me on a third separate occasion because one of the gas cooking hobs had become blocked during the clean, but he never showed up costing me lots of wasted time and didn't even communicate to say he wouldn't be there. Wasted lots of my time and overall incredibly frustrating.

I have been working for 47 years and never, in all that time, have I come across a company so totally useless and unprofessional as Compass Cleaning. They are uncommunicative, unreliable in the extreme and have no idea what cleaning actually is. I have given one star because there isn't an option to give minus 10!

I can't recommend Compass clean Oxford high enough! They are professional, flexible, understanding and excellent. I've booked them to do end of tenancy cleaning but as I was still moving my stuff out on the day they were able to come the next day instead to carry out the work. They have done an exceptional cleaning, which was amazing! I will definitely use them again. Thank you so much Rubens!!!

They do a reasonably good job but are not reliable. The cleaners are usually late and the company never says when to expect them without prodding. Sometimes they say the cleaner is running late and then they send a couple of people to do a speed clean. Saturday they didn’t turn up at all and I waited in all day. I phoned and emailed twice to find out if/when they were coming without receiving any response. Too bad I was expecting company and am very disappointed. So...they said they would come today Tuesday to make up for missing Saturday. They were to come at 5 pm so I hurried home to be here for them. They didn’t show up. They must be kidding!!! Not the way to keep business! Some of the cleaners are also better than others so uneven quality. They are quick with the bills however and send the invoice daily until paid. The most I have waited to pay after cleaning is two to three days over the weekend but they sound like they are desperate to be paid.
