An absolutely awful school, they don’t deal with bullying, racial discrimination or homophobia in the school. There is a very depressing, authoritarian atmosphere, students aren’t allowed to be expressive, and individuality is completely repressed. Students who suffer with mental illness aren’t given the support they need and students who struggle with school work aren’t helped either. The school has also had issues with multiple teachers who have stepped out of line, one being sexually predatory around students, another being physically aggressive, and multiple being extremely disrespectful and outright bullying students for their appearance or their (lack of) wealth. I could name names but I won’t. They also deal with disruptive students ineffectively, generally creating more anger & a self fulfilling prophecy for those students. They also give out MOD’s (minor offence detentions) and isolation for the smallest reasons such as wearing incorrrct uniform or wearing eyeliner. I would not recommend this school for anyone, it is awful.

Very run down especially in the boys toilets while they do have some very good teachers others are terrible and don't even seem qualified for the jobs at some times the teacher can even ruin a lesson you use to like.Because of the pairing with cambourne school a lot of the teachers have been sent off to cambourne meaning a lot of good teachers have gone off to cambourne so I have supplies in a lot of my lessons which is very annoying as whenever that happens I learn pretty much nothing in that lesson and they seem under qualified. This was particularly annoying when my teacher was ill for two weeks before the test when we needed help from a qualified person most but instead for all but one of the lessons we had sub's who were not even qualified I strongly believe that this affected my test result negatively.
