Comberton Surgery cambridge

- This review is based solely on the surgery not the doctors who have always been extremely excellent. I frequently visit this surgery for me, my wife and my two young children. I've grown to hate booking appointments here, mostly because I know I need to clear my schedule for the next few hours because I never know how long the wait will be, on average I have to wait around an hour to be seen. On a number of occasions it has been even longer. I cant understand why I'd have an appointment for example at 15:30 and not be seen till after 16:30.. how does that make sense? If in any other job I was running that far behind I would get the sack! Its ludicrous. Also I have two close family members who have been told to book urgent appointments.. only for them to ring up and they are made to wait two months for them. The pharmacy also is slowly run and waiting times are always expected here too. Another point to add is that when I ring up for an appointment the receptionist actually asks me what it is for! A confidential issue I'd like to discuss only with my doctor! I've given a two star review mainly for the cleanliness, good amount of seating and reading material as well as toys.

Doctors are all very helpful and professional however my issue is with the receptionists who I find to be very rude and obstructive. I do not wish to discuss my health issuues with a receptionist on the main reception, however the locum GP will always call me back.

Been going to this surgery for 37 years and never had a problem with anyone - a very impressive record!!

This is by far the best doctors surgery iv ever been too, lovely staff, nice surroundings and my doctor is lovely and very professional, very good surgery, not too long to wait for appointments or referrals.

I have been cared for by this Surgery for over 35 years and have always been treated with compassion, understanding and patience as I have lived through some turbulent times in my life. Thankyou, all of you for your selfless service and commitment to us in this community, the wider public and the NHS. I think you all deserve a medal!

Good luck getting through to book an appointment. No online booking service, no message service, no queue, just a dial tone. Utterly ridiculous

Doctor showed me an amazing trick whilst undertaking a prostate exam recently. Managed to do it no handed. I was truly amazed. 9/10 would definitely go again and would recommend to all.

Never actually answer the phone so who knows what they're like

Distancing clinically clean and friendly if you need to see a nurse or doctor don't be worried it is very safe

A small surgery that operates out-of-hour. Reception was polite and offered to give directions as I would visit the surgery for the first time. There were no signs indicating that the house is a surgery, but looking for a large parking lot helped.
