I started working with Michael and Elaine when I attended a one day introduction to massage course. This allowed me to make sure that it was for me before I committed to the full body massage course. I have never looked back and have now also trained in structural rebalancing and Ayurvedic facial massage at the College. I can’t recommend the team enough. The guys have also recently added back into the calendar their practitioner support evenings. This is a fantastic opportunity to get peer support, continuing professional development points and have somewhere to go to discuss your practice.

I chose the College of Classical Massage for my ITEC level 3 diploma because of a recommendation I had 15 years ago from an excellent massage therapist. I couldn't do the course at the time due to other professional commitments but never forgot about it, and when I was finally able to do it last year I was not disappointed! Michael has a huge depth of knowledge in his field -massage techniques, anatomy, physiology and pathology- and he is a wonderful, gentle and patient teacher. His massage techniques go above level 3 and I have now become very selective on who massages me preferring someone from the course I've been on as I know it will be at an excellent level. We completed our course at the beginning of the Pandemic and Michael adapted to the challenges and made sure we would get all the tools necessary to pass with flying colours. It's been an honour being trained by such a knowledgeable teacher and I could not recommend him and the college highly enough. I have now my own successful practice thanks to the course, thank you!

I chose the College of Classical Massage to gain my ITEC level 3 diploma because of a recommendation by an excellent massage therapist. She was so right! This course hits all the marks it has to for certification, of course. But it offers so much more than the basics. College Principal, Michael Gibbons, is quite possibly the most patient and natural teacher I have ever known. We were a lively class with a great many questions and a desire to go further in our learning. He 'met' us at every point, teaching additional techniques, answering complicated questions, repeating and repeating all those bone names and muscle groups every time he did a demonstration so that we would absorb a huge amount of information by repetition and practice. An exceptional course. I recommend it in the highest terms!

I have truly valued my time at The College of Classical Massage. I felt that Michael and Elaine were always available to offer support to any questions that came up along the way. The instruction was thorough and interesting. The practical massage techniques surpassed what I had expected to learn. I highly recommend studying with them and I plan to enrol on further courses. Thank you!
