Cock Marsh is located at Cookham, Maidenhead SL6 9TJ, UK, we aim to offer all our customers a great experience with Cock Marsh and we would be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
Footpaths weave through the grasses and wildflowers or if you’re feeling more energetic, you can climb to the top of the chalk slope to be rewarded with views over the Buckinghamshire countryside and the river below. Cock Marsh is common land and has been grazed by cattle for centuries. In the summer months, you’ll find cows in the meadow or maybe wallowing in the Thames. Grazing means that the land has become rich in wild flowers including several species of orchid. You might also find rock roses, thyme and a small, rare plant called brown galingale.

Walk the dog here every day. He loves it. I wish there were more dog bins available on this side of the river though
Really nice to get out and see people with kids and dogs running around. Took my kids and enjoyed the sunshine although it was windy. Just wish people would pick up their rubbish especially discarded masks!
The improvements and maintenance is noticed and appreciated. Multiple paths and lovely views make this a wonderful spot to discover and hike. I recommend continuing along to Winter Hill past spade Oak reach for another view and if you have a few hrs the circular walk through the woods to Marlow and either catch the train to Bourne End or walk along the river back and across.
Great place for a dog walk. Check out 'The Bounty' pub. Great food in a relaxed atmosphere.
