Co-op Food oxford

Shop in itself isn't bad, but I think it needs to managed better. For example often I see products with labels in front of it with an offer, you take said product to the tills and no offer, turns out the label is for a different product and they have faced across. So why hasn't the label got an out of stock label over it, so customers can see that actually the product behind it, isn't the product on offer. Also the staff don't know what products they have in store (including supervisers). I visited the store and asked for a product and was told they don't stock it by a team leader, but on carrying on walking around the shop I found the exact product I was after. This has happened three times to me now in this store. As a customer it has left me very frustrated. More so with the offer labels, you think your getting a good price for something until you get to the till then leave annoyed and let down by the shop. The time it happened to me I raised the point that you shouldn't face across without an out of stock label as your technically advertising the product behind the label at a discounted price, and the person I spoke to in the shop said but its a different product then just turned and walked away leaving me there in shock. Customer service obviously isn't high in the agenda in this store either. Having said this the store does have a good range of products you just might need to find products yourself, and the staff in general are friendly once talking to you.

Good parking and access, new and pleasant surroundings plus reasonable range of food at reasonable prices. I wouldn't hesitate to go there for most grocery shopping.

Shop is great generally most staff have great customer service, but not all. I have repeated bad customer service from one staff member

A really well stocked, clean and modern Co-op.

Well what can I say? I've never been to a shop where everyone is so pleased to see and have a chat with the customers. Nothing is too much for the staff, the shop is always well stocked and very clean. Post office is fab too. I have to mention one member of staff, Vicky, she is absolutely brilliant, so happy to see each customer and makes time to chat to each one as she serves. She recently had a week's holiday and my goodness her banter was missed ☺

Quiet out the way. Hard to find if you don’t know the area. Had everything we needed.

Staff are nice Vicky, Anne, Jane and Darren are lovely and when we go in they are helpful and make our shopping experience very easy and you can tell they work really hard.

Surprisingly well stocked and offering quality foods beyond the average weekly grocery shop. Friendly service and short waiting times at the tills, very happy we did pop in.
