Never experienced a problem with bouncers I met one who worked here he was not here but at another place he was very nice and chatty but ok we are talking about the club in general here. Don't know about the prices because it's like a packed Chinese train at rush hour so I could not get to the bar. But imagine being in that train IN PITCH DAMN BLACK!. And it's roasting in there too was sweating when I came out with no drink or anything walked in went upstairs came down and out had enough. Used a torch to get up there. The second star is because that bouncer I met works here sometimes so friendly staff I guess.

The biggest lack of morals since Nazi Germany (which they happily brag about). I was punched in the face by one of their regulars. For whatever reason, they let the guy off. Worst club in York. No question. No morals.

Just as bad as I remember. The bouncers are rude. I was approached by someone and started to get pushed by him which led to us both being kicked out. I explained to the bouncers that it was the other guy who started pushing me and they didnt care. I didnt act on any physical violence, however tried to hold my own against this person by standing still and blocking their advances. I understand their protocol, however onxe listened to reason I think they should take different approaches and do more to protect their customers.

Bouncers refused to search for and return lost property as they blocked off one of the rooms as it approached closing time. When I approached a female staff member to help me they then grabbed me from behind and forcibly removed me. There was no need to lay hands on me since I displayed no signs of drunken or disorderly behaviour and was not verbally asked to leave before this incident. Upon the approach to the door and once outside the bouncer did not let go of me. Several of bouncers outside who witnessed this denied working there and/or denied seeing anything. I was wearing a thick winter jacket during this ordeal and still have bruises from the bouncers manhandling me.

Probably the worst bouncers in York. I love the club itself, but the bouncers who have been friendly before just kick you out at random times, leaving you alone on the streets without your friends or anyways to get home safely. Completely irresponsible and should be corrected

All the reviews mentioning the bouncers are accurate I am afraid to say. Good club, not great prices and just awful awful bouncers. The queues are always massive because they are incapable to check ids at a reasonable rate and they simply speak in a way which nonsensical. Ignorant, rude and it doesn’t surprise me to see that they have ruined many other peoples nights for no good reason.
