We booked our daughters christening here, the manager took a cash deposit from us and said he'd organise catering and contact with details. I had to phone Mike every few days as he never once called me back to give me the price. In the end he went on holiday for a week and the staff said nothing booked in diary. We had to make last minute plans due to his lack of communication with us. Fine as a pub but would never hold a function here!

Staff are friendly beer garden reasonable prices good selection of beer wines & spirits

My regular. Has been for 30 years legally and illegally. New management now but still a fab place.

Plenty of tv's , pool tables etc. but the beer is expensive £3-45 for a pint of strongbow is dearer than the city centre .

I like the Clive, it's a nice place for a large variety of drinks that are reasonably priced. The staff are polite, efficient and friendly. The place is huge, has about 8 big screens, shows all sports, with quiet areas available for others. The grassy beer garden is enormous.

Absolutely loved Friday night at the Clive wish I stayed till the end.. x

Upon entering my details were taken and I was taken to a seat. My order was taken and brought over, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pub itself was immaculately clean and light and airy. Will I be going back? Absolutely
