Great circular walk around the lake, dog friendly and excellent place to bring the kids. There is a new playground area and I found the park to be clean most times I've been. Parking is available although it can get quite busy on sunny weekends or bank holidays, so its advised to arrive earlier on the day to get a parking spot. If you are living in the area and have some time around lunch or on weekends, enjoy a quiet walk, its definitely worth it!

New visitor centre cafe and playground a great addition. The country walks as good as ever. Great for adults and kids alike. Very popular so parking can be difficult in good weather at peak times. Worth the effort.

Beautiful park, great little walk around the lake, lots of carved wood characters, including the Gruffalo, to find. Path around lane is accessible by bike/ pram and there's loads of woodland to explore. Refurbished play park is brilliant. Car park gets packed, best to get there early on a weekend. Little cafe and visitor centre offers a decent cuppa for a reasonable price. Worth a trip.

Pram friendly paths (had out 8wk old in the pram) wouldnt say loads of parking. Defo recommend going in the morning. We left at about 1.30pm ish and the queues of cars tryj g to find a space was busy. Kids loved looking for the Gruffalo. It's a really nice walk. Enjoyed by all th family and the 'dads' enjoyed the park as much as the kids (standard haha)

Nice walk on Sunday 7/2/21 10am with the dogs, very cold but can imagine how nice it will be in good weather. Slow walk around the lake about 1hour. When we got back to the car park there was a back up of cars with no spaces left. Go early to get a spot.
