Wonderful coffee and the food is to die for. Never in Toronto have I seen such an eye for detail and careful presentation. I love the edible flowers and divine selection of baked goods. My favourite place for coffee and morning tea.

No adventure can begin until you've smashed down a few of Claver's brew. Best staff, best coffee and the absolute freshest/flavourful/unique food cooked fresh daily. Can't go past these guys if you're on Toronto.

5/ 5

Cleaver sets the benchmark for seriously good coffee in Lake Macquarie. The food options are seasonal, made in-house and cooked to absolute perfection and I'm pretty sure the chef is over qualified. On weekends the savoury selection includes brioche rolls with freshly made savoury fillings and a couple of varieties of frittata. Vegetarians are catered for and everyone gets a glass of sparkling water delivered to the table. Cleaver buzzes with good vibes and clearly the locals love it.

Polished service, excellent coffee and outstanding combination of flavours in toastie fillings. My personal favourite is the mushroom and truffle. Sparkling water served to all customers, great way to cleanse your palette prior to enjoying the coffee. And then there is the Date and Ginger loaf..pure indulgence!
