Was there as a grad student in the mid-80's. It has grown, both in size and stature since then. For me, I loved the modern, human-scale architecture of the college buildings, and having the dining hall and other college functions the centre of activity made it a comfortable and surprisingly warm place to live during the school year. Add a continually changing collection of visiting fellows and grad students, easy access to many of the university resources (the University Library and several faculty buildings on Grange Road, for example), and you have an ideal school for a foreign grad student. I remember my time there fondly, and wish I could return again and again to such a cozy yet intellectually stimulating place.

An affable environment highly conducive to intense study and research. Bonus points for having excellent food, a modern outlook, and for being the most hipster Cambridge College; small and even a lot of Cambridge students haven't heard of it.

4/ 5

My experience with Clare hall can be summed up in a few simple words. This is a place with focus on research and energy among the advanced students is incredibly inspiring! Unfortunately it is not open to the public but the work done here is still indeed a poetic vision to our future. The food and dining experience here is also quite exceptional, I do recommend it! That is why I give 5 beautiful stars for this beautiful collage
