Citrus NHS Dental Care edinburgh

Both me and my daughter have been attending this dentist for several months now. I have had three fillings, whitening treatment and composite bonding all performed by Maria and Kelly. I was so unhappy with my teeth when I first walked into citrus but thanks to Maria and Kelly I now have beautiful teeth. I could not be happier with them, they are amazing! Maria has completely changed my life and helped me lose my fear of the dentist completely. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now which was far from the case before I attended this practice. Maria is an artist in my opinion and the best dentist I have ever come across. She is an absolute credit to this practice!

200£ For one seal, lasted one year and have to change again.. never again.. awful work Maria

No matter how much professional impression Dr. Drew gives me, unfortunately I have to give one star. For five years I have been going to his dental practice every six months. On the last visit I had suggested a cannal treatment and putting a crown. Because there was not enough time to do this as I was moving to another city. I went to the local dentist who said, and showed 7 other fairly big holes, which I didn't know! The tooth which has supposed to have a canal treatment, needed just replaced badly place filing. In addition, the another tooth that has been pained for the last few weeks, and according to the dentist of the citrus nothing was wrong, the current dentist explained that in the middle of the tooth was developing another large hole...

Fantastic service, lovely team, I actually enjoy going to the dentist these days:) My daughter was afraid of the dentist before meeting Dr Drew and now she wants to go for her check ups!

I have always had good teeth, I brush twice a day and floss, I have a couple of fillings but nothing major. I am very lucky and my diet is healthy. When I joined Citrus Dental Care and went to my initial appointment with Drew I was told that I needed three fillings. It was a shock to me. I was actually very upset by it. He observed that I had non NHS fillers in the couple of fillings I do have and assumed I'd want the same again? I said yes and had to come up with the money-which was no small amount. The fillings he put in did not sit right, they were not filed down properly and jarred and everything caught in them. They were truly very poorly done. I made another appointment to go back and see him and he was deeply apologetic and attempted to fix the issues but said really he'd just have to do the filling again and that actually I should probably get another xray just in case....what do you know....I needed more fillings. Now I am not a wealthy woman. I can not afford to be getting fillings constantly. So I left it as I was moving. Six months later things have settled down and I sign up to my new local dentist, I go for an appointment, they take an xray and what do you know....I don't need a filling. I probably didn't need the expensive three fillings that I now have in my head. They also fixed the finishing of the bad filling for free and did the basic clean and polish which I happily paid for. Drew is perfectly charming and the staff are nice and the surgery is clean but-if you have non NHS fillings in your teeth and you don't feel like becoming a cash cow for them AVOID.

Great dentist with a fantastic and friendly team. I had to have emergency treatment and they were just brilliant. Great with the kids too.

I recently had some crowns replaced with Dr Maria Ertz and would say overall it was an excellent experience! Dr Ertz was so friendly and explained everything very clearly which put me at ease. I never felt a thing, and my new crowns look and feel great - she is a brilliant dentist! The reception staff were also always extremely friendly and I had no trouble getting an appointment. Citrus was recommended to me by a colleague and I in turn would recommend Citrus to anyone!

Fantastic dental practice, needed a new crown fitted, fast and efficient, new crown is perfect. Would not hesitate to recommend, friendly, professional staff and top quality dental work.

Receptionist is extremely friendly and the rooms are clean. Dentist was friendly and explained his observations clearly, which I appreciated. So far, a very high level of patient care and professionalism at Citrus Dental.
